Espoma Organic Seed Starter is a great foundation to grow seedlings and cuttings! Containing an enriching blend of sphagnum peat moss & perlite that is enhanced with yucca extract and lime to ensure proper pH. Myco-tone, proprietary blend of mycorrhizae, to ensure new plants grow bigger roots and have faster growth. Use indoors in the late Winter or early Spring to start seeds for transplanting into the garden.

Starting from seeds:
- Fill a shallow container with Espoma Organic Seed Starter. Peat pots or special seed starting trays with drainage holes make transplanting a smoother transition.
- Wet seeds and allow drainage.
- Plant seeds according to directions on seed packet.
- Place container in a warm bright location but not direct sunlight.
- Keep moist.
- When the plants develop their first leaves transplant it into a larger container or outdoors.
- Dig seedling out of its mix and extend handle with care to avoid damaging the fragile stem and root system.
Starting from Cuttings:
- Add seed starter soil to a clean container and wet the mix.
- Make a small hole, gently insert the cutting and pat the soil to close the hole.
- Keep soil moist until roots are developed and then transplant.
