0-0-7 LockUp Lawn Fertilizer and Herbicide
40 lb. bag
0-0-7 with LockUp provides potassium for healthy root systems with post-emergent weed control. It is ideal for going into summer heat stress and dormancy for mid-Atlantic cool season grasses without providing nitrogen which pushes growth. Providing potassium combats drought and heat stress. LockUp has a reduced risk herbicide designation though US EPA registration.
OVERVIEW of LockUp
LockUp specialty herbicide provides homeowners, lawn care operators, golf course superintendents, sports turf managers and sod producers with powerful post-emergence broadleaf weed control in a convenient granular formulation. Labeled for use on warm- and cool-season grasses, LockUp offers excellent control of broadleaf weeds, including white clover, dollarweed, dandelion and English lawn daisy.
LockUp provides superior post-emergence control at extremely low rates of active ingredient (0.02 to 0.06 lb. a.i./A) and shows increased efficacy compared with other herbicide options. LockUp is available nationwide from distributors of granular fertilizers in single, two-way and three-way combinations to provide the broadest spectrum of weed control.
How LockUp specialty herbicide works Penoxsulam, the patented active ingredient in LockUp specialty herbicide, is absorbed via leaves, shoots and roots, and begins to work immediately by translocating throughout the entire plant. It works as an ALS inhibitor, preventing enzyme synthesis and cell division. Control is typically achieved in two to four weeks.
LockUp specialty herbicide also provides up to six weeks of residual control of susceptible weeds, depending on use rate and environmental conditions. LockUp can be applied to cool- or warm-season grasses year-round.

How to apply
Application rates at the lower end of the rate range should be satisfactory for young, succulent growth of labeled weed species. For less sensitive species and under conditions where control is more difficult, the higher application rate range may be needed.
